I have owned both wolves and wolfdogs since 1995. I got broke in 'hard' because once i fell in love with my 1st 2 wolfdogs - I went for the real thing - Wolves. Wonderful, wonderful creatures but not for the unprepared, or usual owner of even wolfdogs. To have a wolf is expensive, possibly dangerous, time-consumming and there is the priority of total dedication to this animal above and beyond anything else - not to mention city/county ordinances and state laws.
We feel that mid-contents are highly trainable canines providing you put in the proper time and effort. - We prefer 2nd generation Wolfdogs (F2's) as, for the most part, being the ideal Wolfdog for companionship - as well as service duties.
We always socialize and bring our puppies in the house with us and others at a very young age.
Whether or not we bottlefeed depends mostly on the Wolf content of the mother.
Whatever content they are - pups are brought up young and can be acquired as young as 4 weeks old (on a bottle)Kennel Club Registrations:

We have had no hereditary conditions in our canines at this point.
Besides breeding for temperament we breed for looks - leg, body proportion. - no matter what size the canines are. We especially breed for tall, 'rangy'ness in our canines.
we do most of our own 'vetting'at home unless something is an emergency. - We live very isolated and dont have any Wolfdog friendly vets in the area
We expect to offer our pups to dedicated people - people that can show that they will be actively training and working with the dog on a daily basis. Many people are 'stay-at-home' workers and this is ultimately the best scenario. Extra canine companionship is essential as well - even if it is just a 'little guy' - as long as its a canine - it works.
People that have heavy work schedules, that are away from home alot will NOT work with these types of mid-content Wolfdogs - unless they are highly experienced with Wolf/dogs.We breed for quality, manageability, & looks.
My original bloodline from one of my 1st 2 Wolves is almost obsolete.
We have chosen hi-quality canines to replace and continue that bloodline.
