Caldwell's Miniature Dachshund Puppies specializes in breeding exquisite AKC registered Miniature Dachshund Puppies for loving, responsible owners. We are a very small, very caring breeder, and our dogs and puppies live with us in our home, where they are first-hand members of our family. Our Miniature Dachshund puppies are born and raised in our home, and receive a ton of attention, gentle handling and love from birth to the time that they meet their new families. This special attention to socialization creates Miniature Dachshunds with personality plus that will provide you and your family with many years of love, companionship and sheer joy! Sharing our lives with these intelligent, funny, loyal and affectionate little dogs has been a source of endless joy for us, and we feel privileged to have the opportunity to spread a little "Miniature Dachshund Sunshine" to those who are interested in falling under the spell of these incredibly charming canines!
We have had Miniature Dachshunds in our home for sixteen years. They are our babies. They live both inside and outside. We are not a kennel, nor do we have a kennel. We fell in love with chocolates and piebalds and decided to create our own chocolate piebald Miniature Dachshund line to show. We found excellent old champion bloodlines for our foundation, and showed our first piebald in 1995. In our breeding program we have put health, conformation and temperament first, then color. We only breed chocolate tan and black and tan together. We do not produce red nosed reds, as this is a fault, and do not breed piebald to dapple either, since this ruins the dog's pattern.Kennel Club Registrations: AKC

At Caldwell's Miniature Dachshund Puppies, we firmly believe in putting the health of our puppies before breeding color patterns. As a responsible Miniature Dachshund breeder, the health, happiness and longevity of our dogs and puppies - and the satisfaction of our puppy buyers are our first concerns. The Miniature Dachshunds in our breeding program are completely healthy and free from congenital and hereditary disorders. Puppies leave home with 2 to 3 sets of shots and deworming. Puppies are thoroughly vet checked before they are shipped to their new homes. We stand behind the health of our puppies with a comprehensive health guarantee, details of which can be provided on request. We require that all of our puppies be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age, as would any responsible Miniature Dachshund breeder.

In placing our puppies, we do our best to find the very best homes for them that we possibly can. We sincerely hope that all of our puppy placements are permanent, but we will always take a puppy back in the event that the new owners are unable to keep it for any reason. Our Miniature Dachshund puppies must never end up in a shelter or rescue!
