About Our Shih-Tzu Puppy Breeding Program

At Exotic Shih Tzu many families have been enriched over the years, we truly love making a difference in your family and we would love to share our references/referrals with you. We only breed Shih Tzu! The FACES of our Shih Tzu are absolutely extraordinary. We have solid dark reds, black and white, extremely dark chocolate's, solid white, cream and red livers, as well as solid black, we love those solid gold colors with those fabulous black mask ewak faces. Exotic Shihtzu puppies are home bred, and have all with that exquisite baby doll face we are known for. We have new litters born with an awesome selection of exotic color. All of our dogs, and puppies are AKC and have champion pedigree! They have extraordinary color and amazing temperaments, and usually sleep on there backs (LOL). Our puppies are fully guaranteed for health, temperament, and personality galore! We do not cargo ship our puppies, as a personal opinion we feel the trauma of shipping ruins our temperaments. We can make alternate shipping arrangements. Call for more information. We are located in beautiful Long Island, New York (30) minutes from the city and (10) ten minutes from the famous Jones Beach. We find that most of our local clients say, "We are just looking for a pet and not a show dog", and don't care about a champion pedigree. Our reply is always the same, having a champion pedigree ensures health, conformation, personality and most of all intelligence. Most Important our dogs are home raised and are not in a kennel. Our puppies are raised with that special gift we have to produce calm, well socialized, heart melting puppies. For your information and use, our secretary, "Beth" , is always available to assist you with all your paper work and needs. We have a Shihtzu Nanny, "Lovie" . She is always available to meet and greet you. And when you meet her you will see she lives up to her name. Lovie does an excellent job as our personal assistant and Shih Tzu puppy lover. Lovie keeps our puppies IMMACULATE, and is an awesome vet tech. She helps out in every way she can. We have amazing clients with outstanding references!! And together we make a difference. All of our puppies are vet certified before they are released to you, with the required forms the state of New York demands me to comply with. Beyond our puppy care kits and designer outfits your receive with one of our puppies, NYS requires us to give you a copy of the "puppy buyers bill or rights". We also provide you with the required forms to certify your puppy's registry (AKC) and pedigree. We look forward to meeting you and making a difference in your family. Unfortunately, there are many unlicensed breeders in the country as well as the tri-state New York Area, and they are all hungry to make a buck. and some of these breeders have very little experience with the Shih Tzu. Be aware that by LAW, the New York State Department of Agriculture requires breeders (even those with only a few litters per year) have a breeders or pet dealers license. Shipping puppies from us is totally out of the question, Cargo Shipping ruins their temperament and scares puppies to death!
I have owned Shih Tzu's for years, I grew up with one (Benji) and I am licensed with the State of New York, and pay taxes on all my sales. After all, wouldn't you want your child to be taught by only licensed teachers? If you are going to breed dogs or cat's please do it the proper legal, clean, healthy way! We do....
