About Our German Shorthaired Pointer Breeding Program
A quality, family owned, kennel offering German Shorthaired Pointer Pups including 5 generation pedigree documentation. Our kennel offers German Shorthaired Pointer, IHD's Fritz Sohn Von Roll Tide, who is sired by 2x NFC DC Leibmiester Roll Tide. Our puppies are available on a first-come first-serve basis. We also maintain a waiting list as most pups are sold before they are born. All of our German Shorthaired Pointer dogs have had OFA and CERF completed. At IDAHO HUNTING DOGS, we pride ourselves on having a very conscientious breeding program. Our dogs and puppies are raised in a family environment as a part of our family!! We have been breeding quality pups for 15 years. All our puppies are born and raised in our home to get them used to a home's general sights, sounds and chaos plus of course, lots of hugs and kisses. We take them outside as appropriate to run them around the yard when they're ready. These are definitely family dogs for the home; however, we encourage some form of puppy social/obedience class for new puppies and their families. Our goal is to breed conformationally correct GSP's with great dispositions that are also very birdy. Our Shorthairs are very good family dogs, very loving and are strong hunters in the field for those who want a bird dog.

Health Information About Our German Shorthaired Pointer Dogs & Puppies
We have had all of our dogs OFA Hip Certifications done as well as their eyes (CERF), heart and thyroid checked by our veterinarian. Our females go in for pre-natal checks as well annual checkups for all adult dogs.

Shipping can be arranged to approved homes within the USA, at buyer's expense, weather permitting.
