We first began breeding Kangal Dogs in 1988, making us the oldest breeder of Turkish Kangal Dogs in North America. We raise our dogs with family and livestock to preserve their working instincts as farm and family guardians. Our goal is to provide pure Turkish Kangal Dogs to owners seeking the best.

By raising puppies whose ancestors we have bred and raised for generations, we know a great deal about their strengths and weaknesses. Our new Turkish lines are carefully evaluated. Although our dogs are raised as working guardians, they are carefully screened for disposition and genetic problems. We have 3 Grand Champions and multiple champions here on our farm -- working. PennHip and OFA evaluations are done routinely.
Our buyers are people who understand that the more effort they put into raising their young dog in the right way, the more they benfit from it. The breed is very intelligent and not for someone who is looking for a "couch companion." We like prospective owners to have had experience with other large dogs -- either shepherds, mastiffs, or other livestock guarding breeds. The Kangal Dog is amazingly adaptable to rural or even urban environments given the right owner who understands the basic needs of the breed.
Our owners have reported their Kangal Dogs having frightened off would be home intruders -- and others in more rural areas have reported that their dogs have protected the family and livestock from cougars and bears.
